FREEFLY Systems Alta #1 picked up by MRF own Steve Maller

Nice pictures of that frame, looks very basic though, and interesting esc placement especially for U8 type motors... Hmmm, U8 170kv 6s x12 is max thrust of about 125lbs... I'm a fan of the x12...

How to get a multicopter with a grippper arm?

Setting up retractable landing gear when using sbus port

The confusion is if you are using it in D8 1-8 mode then the 8 SBUS channels are mirrored on the 8 outputs. if you want separate 9-16 you will need to select it when you bind the Rx. Most of the time I just bind like this and pick a channel I'm not using anyway... then no need to mess with 9-16...

    AVOID Hobby King!

Most of all of us found this^^^ out the hard way, @Lynn Deppe, you should be lucky it wasn't more expensive I have purchased quite a few products from HK that were far less than satisfactory. Haven't ordering anything from them in at least 2 year but I did get a great deal on a Turnigy...

    250 class FPV build

I know it's a little late but maybe look into some of the 250 power distribution boards, they will have 5v out for FC and usually 12v out for lights or Video Tx... Worth the weight in my opinion, probably a weight saving over 2 separate UBEC...

12 cells... for all the 6s lipo laying around

Alright, Any of the MR wizards here messed with 12s rig yet? Any motor/esc recommendations? Any ideas? This is all theoretical right now. This one is just something I have wanted to build for years, if for no other reason than to try it. The KDE7215 looks amazing, also intrigued by using...
