    Tarot T810 build log

This is a good idea. it is always good to know how much juice you're putting back in the lipo. Also, like Jack said it sometimes helps to fly with a 'dummy weight'. also helps before you throw an expensive gimbal on there. The main reason for getting the iOSD mk2 is that is will provide...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Yea, I can vouch for the GP 3 Black always puts out 1080/60 regardless what you have it recording... Does the Tx take 6s input?

Will the H3 be able to handle a GH4? If so that's a pretty light payload...

    Tarot T810 build log

For Naza it is almost worth investing in the iOSD mk2 for datalogging feature. Then you can check voltage running on landing to what it comes back to after resting. Keep in mind you still don't want to push your lipos too hard. The way you ran your power connection to Naza is it running the...

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

It would appear you would have to run it in 'indoor' mode, which depending on your regulations would probably be illegal to run 'outside'. Not familiar with euro rulings but that's the way it sounds. The difference between 25mw and 200mw is significant.

Yes, voltage will drop under load. Be careful compensating for it, each craft/payload/lipo set will be different... That is why they allow you to change where your voltage alarms are actually triggered. Glad you got her up and running, I am fond of this frame as well..

If I had a dollar for every time that happened... Also should report that SX works well on X8 with 170kv on 6s

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Welcome, It definitely seems to be a great concept and thank you for joining this forum, that helps immensely with customer support in my opinion. Would it be possible to see a basic guide for setting up Tx antennas for best result? I think this would eliminate a lot of confusion. Also, are...

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

Huge Y6, that is a very slick build, and convienent folding size. Where do you mount the retracts on a Y6? How do you think SX handles the lower rpm? are you running it 6s?

    XAircraft SuperX on heavy lifter

I can dig in the archive(lol) but I don't think I snapped a picture. Obviously not because it is trade secret, I'm here now talking about it. That is why I could never do a good build log because I get too caught up in the building to properly document everything... I made it out of scrap...

econfly: You're ahead of the curve, my friend... once people realize how much it can streamline workflows it will become even more popular. Saves a lot of time transitioning between shooting methods. Not to mention the add-ons like a Zoom or any of the SSD video recorders. I wish somebody would...

FREEFLY Systems Freefly ALTA, RTF collapsible hexacopter

Maybe you can leave the gear attached and it just involves some interesting maneuvers on landing and take offs... lol, all joking aside this is an incredible capable RTF package for an amazing price(all endorsement pending further customer beta testing).

I have made a jig for the booms before, this really only works if you have a flat level piece on the copter mounted side of the boom. This way you level one boom mount and with the jig you can replicate that exact level setup over and over. of course if you screw up the first level then i guess...

    Ronin m $1399. Wow.

It is just the beginning of this technology explosion too, I bet it will end up benefiting us, that more people are picking them up for handheld use... It would be interesting to know what percentage of gimbal users only use it handheld?

    Ronin m $1399. Wow.

Flying and handheld. It isn't so much about weight you can carry, it is more about dropping weight you don't need to carry. To some people that extra minute of flight time or less wear on the rig is worth the extra money. I have 2 rigs that are each capable of over 70lbs of thrust, that...
