    Ronin m $1399. Wow.

If you ever plan on flying it, why would you want the extra 2lbs (dry weight) of the ronin over a Gremsy H6? For handheld it matters a little less but still the point remains. Why would you carry extra 2lbs of weight that you could have avoided. Also worth considering the H3 for smaller dslr...

If you told him what you were using them for what was his reaction...? It could definitely be beneficial for them if they caught on.

    Octo with overlaping propeller arcs

If you could tune it then it might fly pretty well because the thrust inputs would be closer together than the conventional. I wonder if there is anyway to see if the prop wash from overlapping slightly is different than plain coaxial. It is definitely an interesting idea. Get 2 quad frames and...

    Octo with overlaping propeller arcs

It would look pretty cool as well as being slightly smaller footprint... If I have any time I might mock something up as well, I'm curious...

    Octo with overlaping propeller arcs

It is an interesting idea, the thrust differential with the overlap would possibly be confusing to the motor mix but it would be cool to see it done.

You could power it with a separate 5v BEC. Is this a single operator setup?

    T8FG, Naza M V2 & R6208SB Issues. Please help

Yes you can use the conventional outputs of 5 and 8 while using sbus. Your best solution might be to narrow down the amount of things that you absolutely have to have.

I thought about the 4G LTE connection stuff years ago when I saw the first LiveU uplink unit. Props to them for making it work... Wonder how the communication works of cellular?

    FAA may get Drones Right.

This is the best response. If anything feel like it is too vague on too many things. The last thing we need is a bunch of people with starter quads(read: phantoms) that don't understand their own equipment. They have the potential to do more damage to the industry than anything else... some...

    T8FG, Naza M V2 & R6208SB Issues. Please help

Naza will use channels 1-7 which is normally how the sbus is assigned.

Interesting idea, still much larger footprint than true X8. You also still have all the extra weight having 8 single booms...
