My brushless gimbal result

Beat me to it. I just read that a few pages back and was going to edit my post. Looks like its a carbon core frame and brush less gimbal for me in a few months!

How does one go about ordering this eh?

GotHeliRC, I'm having hard time ordering this gimbal. I can't add it to the chart. I also wrote a PM about this; still waiting for your answer :)

Cheers.

It's out of stock. I guess he reached the limit with the preorder and had to reorder new parts.
Hope he will send out the first gimbals, can't wait :)

I just want to be sure... Do I need to buy any accessory to plug into the pc? Apologies, but I'm not familiar with ftdi.

You need a mini usb cable. Like this, MINIUSB5B from this picture.

I haven't had time to rig it to a F550, but I believe the spacing I made should go right on the bottom and bolt it on if you use some big washer because the slot on the bottom of the F550 is too big for M3.

You can use this universal landing gear, work great for me.

Gotheli,

When do you think that the 4008 pre-wound motors will be back in stock to order? I am doing a different gimbal build and would like to get those motors (pre-wound if possible - or maybe train my wife for this "man-knitting") :)

Sorry, forgot to order those... will take about 2 more weeks.

This arrived earlier today, took maybe 15 minutes to get the AV130/RSGS off and this one on. Then I had to charge a battery for the beast and setup the RX in the radio again, by the time I had everything to the point of being able to do a test flight it was almost dark and had started to rain. I did manage to get about 1 1/2 minutes in the air doing nothing more than bolting it on and flying, camera wasn't even balanced correctly. I have to be out of town on business from tomorrow afternoon through Thursday, if the weather doesn't allow for a test flight before I leave in the afternoon it will be Friday before I get a chance to post some video. The minute and half I recorded earlier isn't worth posting as it's almost too dark to see anything but it did give me a feel for the level of stability and how well this gimbal will work.

All I have to say on that subject at the moment is, anyone want to buy an AV130 with RSGS? :)

How much Ken?:)

I'd take $700 for the AV130 gimbal plus RSGS, it's a V2 with maybe an hour of flight time on it. I'll be keeping the other 130 I have since they do work well for shooting stills but the brushless is definitely the way to go for video IMO.

2212 80 turns wounded
3506 130 turns wounded
3508 130 turns wounded
4006 150 turns wounded

IN STOCK. If you want it, get it now... because stock is very limited. Don't be like Kloner, have to wind his own motor. :D

Oh, on a side note.. I thought I got big hand. Maybe this will carry the 5D or even Red Epic? :)

pg 14 of this thread I threw up a gh2 pict with ruler.
Anybody know if the gimble that RTRyder shows will carry the gh2 or does it need a new frame.

Weight of camera is around 640g with light lens.
