    Drone flying, Bahamas

I read somewhere that they had to pay like 300$ in customs to get a Phantom into Bahamas. That had a bunch of professional photo equipment, but they only had to pay for the Phantom. Weird.

    RTH didn't descend (crash)

I don´t know your radio. You´ll need a 3 position switch to do it or some radio programming to trigger Failsafe. Turning off the radio is an option. Check with the Naza assistant that it goes to FS when you turn off the radio. If you want to regain control after turning the radio back on switch...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

I liked them Des, but they are not worth their price. I didn´t see any improvement in flight times, but my craft flies very well with them. I´ll weight them down to see if there is a difference.

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

I have already installed the 12x4 Tiger CF props and the results are disappointing. I have made two consecutive 16 min flights with the standard DJI props and with the Tigers and the results in mAh consumed are almost identical, 50 mAh difference. These props are not worth their price.

    Amazing what props will do!

I just installed the E600 propulsion to my F550 and it flies great with the standard props, but as soon as I receive some tools I´ll be flying with fancy CF props from Tiger. I hope my flight times and handling improves too

    RTH didn't descend (crash)

You need to have ATTI to regain control, either with a 3 way switch of some kind of radio programming. I think you also need ATTI to enter GPS Calibration.

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Thanks eskil, that could be a solution, but I´m unsure that the polished surface on the E600 motor would be a good grip. I´m going to see if a friend can widen the center hole on the cover by 1 mm

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

I´m running into some trouble fitting the Tiger 12x4 props to the E600 motor. As you see in the pics the prop fits fine with the 5mm shaft but the cover that Tiger provides is 4mm to suit their motors. I tried to ditch the cover and use a prop washer and a 5mm nut, but they will only screw to...

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Thanks Des, everything straight from 6S. If you plan to use LED´s for night flying you´ll need a BEC to power them o a separate 3S lipo. I bought my Tiger props locally in Spain. I´ll let you know if there is a significant performance increase. Javier

Moving from 3S setup to 6S

Hi Gary. Here are some pics of my F550 with the E600 that just flew for the first time this morning. Flying weight is 3,2 Kilos with a 880 gram 6000mAh 6S Lipo. So I have another 400 grams of extra capacity for a bigger lipo to be at 3,6 Kilos recommended for the E600 system (600 grams per...

    RTH didn't descend (crash)

Sorry about your crash. To regain control after hitting FS you have to return to ATTI mode and center throttle..... At least with Naza V2. Check your manual.

    Motors For a Hehxacopter

What is your planned total weight? If it´s around 3.6 Kilos you can use the DJI E600 (600 grams per motor lift capability) propulsion systems that comes with ESC, motors and propellers for a good price. Or you can wait for the new E800 (800 grams per motor lift capability) that will be released...

DJI Livecast is happening right now. new announcement hasn't happened yet

I´m not selling my F550 Bart. In fact I´ll be upgrading it with the E600 power system to get longer flight times. For us that own one or two transmitters and lots of Lipos, spending 3000$ on a new system with its own proprietary transmitters and batteries is not appealing. I´d prefer to spend...

DJI Announces Free Shipping to ALL European Countries through Oct 13

Thanks, but I prefer to buy local. Free shipping is good, but if I order from DJI I´ll have to pay 5% import tax plus 21% VAT in Spain.
