    @pete, thanks mate Now i had a flash of inspiration, on the folding. if the front cross arms (currently angled forward) worked suficiently ok at right angles (mirror the rear cross arm that goes from one side to the other) then you could cut and bolt them in the centre, that way both motor...

    @nater - yea its close to the center, but it wont matter too much if its not, nice hex design BTW

    forgot to say, flying hard sideways (30-40 deg) the vtq (Vtail Quad) dosent drop its bum, the vtail forward most rear prop is near horizontal, providing more lift, and the rearmost prop is near verticle, pushing in the direction of flight :)

    of course it does, its got two rails, one on each side :D tempted to fit sponsoons under each rail, and scare the ducks

    that will be a good comparison,talk to me before using the CC board, you have a development one, and needs a setting changed to fly properly

    personally i wont be sticking a clock in shot, honesty goes a long way :-) found a picnic table at work, so ready to get some runs in this week at lunch time, no landing gear on the Vtal Quad :)

    Testing outside in the wind revealed a serious issue - no where near enough yaw controll to hold its own, and maxed out, pitch is compromised Broke 5 props testing so, quick re-config, mounted both motors, side by side at a 30 deg V, and now its a fun machine ! yaw is very authoritive...

    so far, copter control is super easy compared to , say ardupilot, where mixing involves code hacking. an example is attached, its the figures I typed in to get a Y4, 2 minutes work
