    V6 and V8 Frame Designs

forgot to say - for me the best part of the V designs is the ability to carry a camera , with great viewing angle, and not having t have landing gear, or a camera hanging below to get damaged the negative is having to adjust the battery location depending on battery and load changes

    V6 and V8 Frame Designs

its the V shape that they say they have the rights to i believe, saying it unique in alowing a clear forwarward view - same could be said of a Y6 design - so i dont know how well they would defend it I changed mine to two straight rows of three motors, and the Vtail on the end. That config, can...

Convert a Minsoo Kim frame to Vtail

Dont be sorry, hijack away, its all good discussion the problem with what you are proposing is to do with ROLL the rear motors are closer to the centre line than the fronts, and if you apply an equal amount of power to the both motos on one side to counteract roll, you end up with the rear...

Convert a Minsoo Kim frame to Vtail

Doing this for a friend,he brought a quad, and sent it to me for a Vtail Makeover Thought this would be relevant as a few on here have Minsoo Frames you need a piece of aluminium bar 25mm by 3mm by 360mm long, and a minsoo kim quad frame (or any frame really the front arms are changed...

Placing batteries low for lower centre of gravity?

a side issue with a low CoG, relating to battery life, if the CoG is low, and your multi needs to hold at an angle to keep position in the wind, it will need more power to do so , also during normal flight, or at any time the multi is not dead level, as you are constantly "lifting" all that low...
