    I can safely say the RC timer 30 amp esc's have no issues with either ardupilot or copter control, but to be safe, i run the copter control at 350 updates per second

    ESC of choice is the Turnigy Plush 20 or 30 amp, 4S capable, and a nice esc, the RCtimer 20 and 30 also work well

    Not controller specific (im using a CC but will also us a ardu) should work on any 6 channel controller where you have the freedom to assign mixes to each channel So, 6 outputs and 8 motors in a V formation, sounds like a challenge :cool: Intital testing has been done, its not 100%...

    good stuff. the Yaw controll is working well to counter the prop tourque. Did you add any trim in to help, or is the CC board doing it all ? Tempting to throw a board on my Yak55 !

    OpenPilot

    works well, have set three up so far, easy to use as far as configuration. Tuning takes a little bit to nut out two of mine have been handed on as trainers for new pilots !
