Not sure I understand what you mean? I land just about exactly when you do. How does this equate to low C rating? The IR on my packs are healthy too.

I think the reality is that to create a custom firmware, even if forked from a pre-existing code, would take many months (at least) of coding - and that's not factoring in the R&D that would need to accompany the development between revisions. Bottom line, you are talking 10's of thousands of...

The I/O should not matter. I have had it set on its side with no issue. I think it may be best to center the gimbal - if for no other reason that it may help allow the superb to work less to keep a perfect balance. Of course, then you have to mess with the batteries :) If you have the ability...

No doubt that it's important to get the frame and motors working as vibe-free as possible. Otherwise you will be chasing your tail. Do you have any alternate dampening balls you could try in the dampening plate?

I think that the frsky firmware should be fairly similar (it's a fork of the opentx firmware) - so most of the tips should apply, even without reinstalling firmware.
