FREEFLY Systems Alta #1 picked up by MRF own Steve Maller

That is definitely a nice feature - would love to see something of that nature implemented on other FCs - since it seems that I will never own a SYNAPSE :)

    Flight simulator

If reckless is what you're after - the sim is the way to go :) There are people making custom craft for real flight - these a whole dance to do to download/install them into the program. If you search around, you may be able to see if there are any that fit your needs.

I think you made the right move getting a separate radio. I can't imagine the quality of the one that comes with the BNF is that good. You can definitely dial in the expo the way you have done on the Blade 350 (???) - and other settings that are really down to preference. The telemetry...

The product I linked will give you telemetry to the laptop. Also, you can make changes to the FC wirelessly with that hookup. As far as the radio - that really depends on what you like. Mess around with some settings to get it to perform the way you are comfortable with. EDIT: Sorry, you got...

    Hello, every one

I may need some parts that make up the Eagle Eye gimbal camera tray. Also, another thread about the new D800-X8 was questioning whether replacement parts would be available. Do you know if you plan to offer the X8 in a frame only package? Thanks

    Hello, every one

Welcome aboard. I posted a question in the other thread - but maybe you can tell us whether you guys have outlets for purchasing replacement parts for your products??? Thanks

    Flight simulator

I have used the Real Flight 7. I was practicing on single rotor heli, but I checked out a couple of the multirotors. They seemed decent. I still think even a small "toy" quad gives a better learning experience, but the sim seemed pretty good too. It's windows only, so that limits Real Flight...

    Servo?

Glad to help. Feel free to post up any questions you have. There are some really knowledgable folks around here - always willing to lend a hand.

What do you mean by "how the radio should be set up for this." Since it's based on APM, you would be able to get some pretty detailed telemetry running, but it would require opening up the body to access the flight controller. Probably have to drill some holes as well. It would not be connected...

    Hello!

Welcome to Multirotorforums.com TDC. Happy to have you aboard. I think you'll find this a pretty informative, laid back place - with plenty of interesting folks of all levels of experience. Look forward to seeing some of your builds. Have fun and fly safe. Scott

    Servo?

Hey Aaron. Welcome aboard! You wouldn't typically need a servo unless you were building a Tri-copter. The servo would then articulate the rear motor for your "steering." The only servo you'll deal with are the connectors, referred to as servo connectors (3 pin black end with 3 colored...

    Please help with shakey QAV250

Nice work! Glad you're gaining ground. Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the PIDs mid-flight, unless you have Bluetooth (if these smaller boards even have that option). With Multiwii, the Bluetooth connection made it FAR less frustrating to tune :)

CANNOT get this brushless gimbal to work correctly.

Definitely try that first. Should act the same (or close enough). And you can do that same procedure for all the motors - just mark your settings for each motor before putting them to zero. Let us know how you make out.

The Taranis has expo in it - if you haven't adjusted it - you should be fine. You don't need the power from all the ESCS, only 1 to run the FC/Rx. If you want to eliminate the BEC in the last ESC - you'd need to run a separate one to power the FC/Rx. Im not sure what power inputs you have to...

    HELP! Strange Acceleration Jitters

I don't know much, but one thing I know for SURE is that performance will suffer from a motor shaft not being attached to the motor! :) Glad you got it sorted out. New motor won't be much to fix.

Also, make sure if you do the ESC cal that you have no expo on the sticks.

I can't imagine that there would be much of an issue of you calibrate them. They are supposed to be SimonK (which I've flashed MANY times). Check into @crayfellow suggestion, and worst case, try the calibration. You can always send them back after you give it a shot. Figure out your...

Right. But ESCs like the KDE are also set to particular settings at the factory. So as long as the radio is playing nice - these settings should work...in theory :) The product page shows it as being pre-configured to 1060-1860. This is also listed as being the settings that Baseflight likes to...
