Pedro, I could never put my XA 2X Gimbal (CM130TP) to use for video, OK for stills, however I am now using using a Hoverfly Pro for craft and gimbal stab. I have only done a little testing and not much tweaking but the results were very encouraging. much better performance then I got with FC1212...

Have a look at Vulcan frames, I fitted my cinestar mounting plate straight onto it with AV fixings, there is now an adaptor plate available from VulcanUAV to dispense with the CS Mounting plate. its good for CS and PH gimbals.

Looks a nice build you've done. That's big motors and ESC's for that size of ship! Hows the 1212 working out for gimbal stab? I pimped my XA 650 with HFP, Turnigy 12A ESC's (stock motor/prop) using XA 2X Gimbal which is working really well on Hoverfly Pro.

Have to agree with Aviator. Go for the Naza if you want to fly and want GPS and Altitude hold second to none at hobby level. Or go for APM if you enjoy tinkering and getting down to the nitty gritty of PID's, waypoints, geofencing etc.

Alt hold working fine, HFP flying my X650 V8 splendidly in AL and a delight to fly in manual. and I'm well impressed with the HFP gimbal stab on the Xaircraft CM130TP Mount (a nice little gimbal as it turns out)..a good day, all in all.

Actually I believe Xaircraft is bouncing back with the new TAG V. Release shortly. a bit like the Asctec Falcon 8 but with 6 motors. that F8 is some piece of kit these days, now comes with CX730 Option.
