XAircraft XAircraft 650 ESC upgrade advice please????

Richard, I have my 650 running on HFP and turnigy 12A ESC,s and stock motors and props. I fitted all my ESC's between the two plates however the 30A wont fit. Sure you need 30A ESC's? I went for the 12A's because the stock ones are 10A and thought I could fit them in the ESC holders. I could...

    XAircraft XA/APC Custom fibreglass props

Anyone know where, (other than XAircraftUSA) I can get some of the APC props custom made to fit XA motors? I presume they are slotted and not just bored out wide to fit?

    Hi from Aberdeen Scotland

Fit like Bill? I got my X650 running on Hoverfly pro just now, had it on FC1212 AHRS, Naza, APM2, Been a good test bed, back to a X8 now with HFP, seems to be the best so far but still to get used to it. Runs real well on Naza, would have left it on Naza but needed an X8,

    question for DJI 450

I was imaging you were using some kind of PSU and wondering how you knew it was working in manual mode. my thoughts were along with Deanots but current deficiency should apply in manual mode as in Att/GPS.

    Heli for live broadcasting.

Into the realms of tether management. would need a good lifter to handle a tether at any altitude greater than a boom could achieve. reckon dynamic flight would be impractical your payload would change with altitude changes. the tether would have to hang straight down or you would get variable...

    GoPro 3

I dont know whether its technically a shutter but shutter speed is a factor in digital video, its probably more accurate to refer to scan speed of the cmos sensor. I'm no photographic know all. far from it, but I have spent the night researching rolling shutter effect and elimination. The...

    GoPro 3

Thanks Tom. @Tom & Meme: I cant get my head round the filter and jello concept, really the filter should slow down the shutter speed and make it worse. or is it just taking the shutter speed out of resonance. you cant manually set the shutter speed on a gopro so I guess this is the only way to...

Hoverfly Can I program the Turnigy ESC using the HFP?

Nice Fred, thanks for posting the pics. Have you tried the ratchet style crimpers? much easier on the hands and makes sure you use just the right pressure for a good crimp.

Hoverfly Can I program the Turnigy ESC using the HFP?

I think it was programming that was the question rather than calibration.

Hoverfly Can I program the Turnigy ESC using the HFP?

As Bart and Tim say, I'm think you can only throttle cal the ESC's through the HFP, I have not tried programming since the manual says to do it from the Rx. I would not like to try, as you will have to use the beep method and if they are even slightly out of sync that could be nightmarish and I...
