Tabb, I literally can't wait! :D :D Looks incredible... I'm hoping your gimbal with the 3X and your servos will be magic in the air, bro.

Looks amazing. Just ordered yesterday 2 axis CS gimbal, will there be any upgrade kit or is this separate product?

Awesome! Being able to use long lenses is the last frontier.
I would say the weather was great! Made for some moody shots, at least.
What is the gimbal weight RTF?

Hi Tim, Henning was flying the WKM. My machine which has the 360 mounted is flying with MK gear. Henning only is able to get the WKM to work in Manual mode so far.

I agree, long lens work is the final frontier along with active zoom and focus control. I think the gimbal was around 5lbs RTF with the FS100 but I need to check to make sure. I think the gimbal is around 2.2lbs as it sits in this video but the production model will be lighter.

These are the types of dynamic shots I knew would be possible the first time I saw FPV video and decided to get into RC helicopters. I think it's one of the first times I've seen anything like what I was imagining, though! Cool stuff.

Tabb, I heard you went to UW. I'm a super-senior there now, doing Digital Arts and Experimental Media. What did you study?

Josh- Thanks! I studied economics and statistics at UW. I probably should have focused on classes like you are taking!

Gary, I strapped the yellow pool noodle on the back boom so I could tell which way the OCTO was pointing. I am very used to flying looking at the landing gear so once it started spinning around it was very confusing for me! I had to learn to look only at the model for visual cues

great video, one of the best multicopters videos ever.
Do you use videodownlink? and also do you use second fc board or picloc for 360 control?

you might have to reload the page if it's not showing up. im using firefox and it wasn't there the first time, was the next. The vimeo embedded vids take a while too, they don't hold a spot, they show up once propogated in my browser. it was on post #7

If and when i ever get this far in, this is obviously money well spent towards the venture. Absolutely perfect footage and that CS frame is the bomb. everything about all of that vid was good
