    Noob help Please first build

I have experience flying with the NTM 800kv motors.. They get hot super quick. I have had 10" to 12" props, 3s and 4s battery combos. These things heat up like crazy.. I replaced them because I was afraid they'd crap out in flight. They don't draw much current though.. 17 amps max at full...

Newbie to Multi rotor and would like some advice please

I don't have experience with that radio, I am currently using a Turnigy 9xr Pro.. I love it's expandability and telemetry options

my first post here.. a couple q's re: quad or hex and what radio

Hex's are your best bet for carrying heavy payloads. Quads are an easier and cheaper build and typically have longer flight times due to their lighter weight and less motors means less over all power consumption. The Futaba 14sg is a great radio.. I have one lol. But the Turnigy 9xr is also...

Best TX antenna for Boscam 600mw Transmitter

Circular Polarized is the only way to go with 5.8Ghz. Go with the cloverleaf/skew planar wheel

Newbie to Multi rotor and would like some advice please

Looks good, I personally have had trouble with the Turnigy NTM motors. They ran super hot!! I would get lower kv motors like their 800kv motors for that size frame and go with 10-11 inch props.

    Antenna polarization

If using CP (circular polarized) antennas, both the Rx and Tx antennas must have the same polarization. A right hand CP antenna on the Rx will not receive left hand CP transmissions clearly from the Tx.

Desperate for help! Naza M lite jumpy flight behavior

On a side note-> I noticed my gain settings were all changed and were all over the map.. I never once have changed these settings. I applied all default settings (gains all set to 100) but did not have any affect on the problem.

Desperate for help! Naza M lite jumpy flight behavior

Thanks for the responses! Solder joints all appear conductive to my ohmmeter. Like I said before I removed the bullet connectors and soldered directly to the ESC leads. The ESCs are Turnigy Plush 30amp. They are all programmed but I did not calibrate the throttle AFTER I installed the new motors...

Desperate for help! Naza M lite jumpy flight behavior

Hey guys, I recently did a rebuild of a pre existing quad I have to condense some of the wiring and make the quad a little neater. I also added a brushless gimbal and upgraded the motors from Turnigy NTM 28-30's to Emax 3510's. The quad uses Naza M lite FC w/ GPS. I recalibrated everything...

Quadcopter Current Consumption (How to increase flight time?)

Hey guys, I need some advice on how I can increase flight time on my 580 size quad. The quad weighs 3.3lbs without battery. It is equipped with 800kV motors and 10x4.5 props. My OSD says that the quad consumes about 22amps at half throttle which is pretty much a steady hover with a 4s battery...
