Not bad features especially for a P2V+ owner, but I assume nothing has changed as far as flight performance from the changes brought with the 3.04 update up from 3.0? As I have no issues currently, and do enjoy the performance my P2 flys right now on 3.0, I feel I am going to continue waiting...

15 Minutes fully kitted out with my Gimbal, GoPro, AVL58 and IOSMini. The craft is much heavier with all that vs. empty or P2V+ so it comes out pretty good considering. Empty I could easily get 24-25Min. The P2V+ can get 18-20 from what I have been told by a friend with one.

I record at 1440P and in editing, you can cut out the top of the clip when converting it to be 1080P. Doesn't completely fix props that show up with steep forward movement, but it works. Otherwise you have to tilt down a tad and move slower. Curse of the position of the gimbal and FOV of the lens.

One thing I do wonder, is why in the heck does everyone thing that when they see a drone, it is immediately a super risk of impact? Last I checked most all of the shots of drones "near" an aircraft, are usually always below or far to the side, and at the same time, if the UAV pilot is anywhere...

+1 for the Hubsan X4 + the Crash Kit + Prop Guard. Best bang for your buck and the crash kit will keep you in the air for a good long time before you have to buy more props or anything else really.

While that may work fine in theory since you are exposing the sides, I have to wonder if the "Cone" that protrudes from the antenna arcs more toward the tip then to the base. I would run with the tip facing the sky and give it a test.

Basic question, but what was the orientation of the antenna on your Transmitter you were holding? You want the sides of the antenna exposed to the quad, not the pointed end for maximum signal distance.

You were looking for this right? I would pick up a few extras but overall, just be very tender taking it off the GoPro. Those cables aren't usually as fragile as they may look, but they don't do good getting tugged really hard out of their ports or kinked.

Have you tried playing the file off the GoPro in VLC Media Player? Sometimes it can play files that may look corrupt.
