I have a HDMI converter from Kopterworx and it does not work with Red Epic. It does work nicely with Canon EOS 5D mark III though. That is a shame because the fact that it does not need external power is very nice indeed.

Well a thats really sad story. I am sorry for you. This just should not happen with products in this price range. Think if Canon dealers would not replace brand new faulty camera and shipped it back to Japan and you would be without your considerable investment for months. I will let you know...

I have a 5D Mark II and it uses only a CF card, so yes. I made a little video of the off balance. To me off balance looks pretty big. Will be seen if the gimbal copes with that.

I dont see how this would solve my Zenmuse 5D to Cinestar-8 attachment problem. The quick release system is designed for a Cinestar gimbal. I dont see a way of attaching the mount to Zenmuse.
