Well I was allowed to return my A2 because according to DJI Europe support, the A2 should indeed fly home without any programming when the TX is switched off. I haven't received the new one yet. Can somebody confirm that the A2 actually works as described above?

OK so the trick is to program the failsafe in the transmitter so that in case of TX signal lost, the RTH switch channel is goes into activated position and the Manual/Atti/Gps channel into GPS position? If this is so, presumably the same applies to Wookong-M with Futaba RX as well?

No there is not a possibility of IMU not pointed directly towards the nose of the craft. I have Cinestar-8 with Octo-Rotor I configuration so it is fairly easy to mount the IMU directly towards the nose. And the copter flies very well and completely straight. And there is no toilet bowl effect...

As I told before, I think the horizon stays better level when the copter hovers on one geographical spot. Once the copter starts to move - even very slowly - the loss of horizon gets much worse.
