DJI needs to get their SH*T Together!!!!

graupners in the states can be had from most MR specialty shops online. addictive, gothelirc, etc. v-east is graupner usa, they charge a $5 handling fee and only ship ups, seems like my shipping from there is usually $20+ for a set of prop and adapters. the deal of the century is here...

DJI needs to get their SH*T Together!!!!

I think what were seeing here is the craft is made to be flown as is out of the box. then guys hang gopros, bigger packs, etc and it quickly over rates the props carrying ability. usually when something is under rated for it's use, it fails. props are a consumable product, like brakes...

    5.8 1200mW

i'd steer clear of that thing for what you comment needing, a 200-600mw 5.8 system will do more than you need. if it was me and i didn't want a degree in fpv setup, i'd get the immersion 5.8 system. the power regulator is built in, true plug and play. With one of the other systems you gotta...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

it has major signal loss, the other problem with 5.8. That crosshair needs to be made with a micrometer and the lengths gotta be perfect they kinda just make it tougher to make perfect jello free vids with, little more mass up further from the base

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

you can use a helical and crosshair at the same time with a diversity receiver. Tell foxtech to send ya onecrosshair doesn't have much range if the chopper gets up above or bhind ya without turning it. the helical is like a honey badger, it just don't give a crap, doesn't need to be turned, just...

    dji naza is flipping

    Telink Multifun

tossed this thing up today for a quick buzz......... so the vids start off just a 48" foam plane in light breeze, then around 2:25 i kicked on the guardian and notice how the little girl straightens up and acts like a lady all nice and smooth. i love that guardian thing. There suppose to be...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

did mine like this crosshair goes behind stuff better but the helical has range all around it, alot less directional. i like both, but 5.8 and far or low likes that crosshair All this was filmed on 5.8 my last trip to the river. Got there and my 1.3 antenna broke so i switched it back I...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

I posted a video of what your link should look like above, the live feed over walters, same exact transmitter you got directional antennas help a ton, but you gotta find the best spots to mount everything to not get interferrence like i showed as well.

    Graupner E-Prop

on the stock motors you can get away with running them cranked down as long as the big washer is in there. They slip a little in hand, but they fly fine the better way would be to abrasively countersink the nut so it slips down further, like one of these...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

I'd make what you have here work first, then decide if it's even for you. might not like it, or you might fall head over heals, in which case things start looking alot cheaper especially when they work ezuhf is $319 with everything you need to plug and play one rig, from there on out it's $119...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

trees make it horrible, you'll want to scrape the tops, get down below em and your gonna loose the link 900mhz has the least problem going through stuff, 5.8 is the worst. Complete other end of the spektrum. 2.4 video is best, but you gotta goto 433mhz control like ezuhf

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

these already have a mast so your good there. What brand are they? different look to em, and really thick wire for 5.8 anything that makes interference is bad. when you talk about frequencies, there wavelengths like if you imagine an ocean swell. it'll peak on each wavelengths center so 433mhz...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

last week i got an email from foxtech saying they were shipping out some recal fix something or rather for the v.1 cams at no cost. think it prevented uhf interferrence but don't know what else it was causing. They said v.2 you had to buy it cause the warning was on the site when it was for sale...

First ground test with Clover & Skew 5.8Ghz

one other thing beside the tall mast that gets the antenna away from the vtx is i had to change my channel to get it that good. the stock ch1 didn't work for me. i went to ch4 this was my first try, probably looks familliar then i did the cp antennas on a mast and got this and i took that...
