you guys are shopping during the off season
I'd go disco and our new arm kit......anything from 2216 up to 3520, it's amazing. the 540 is cool though, just not my cup of tea
that's all 4s with 9" props and 900 kv 2814 motors on the disco pro kloner special
it will raise the noise floor depending how close the two tx are...... that could cause anything from more statis than it used to have on to it won't work 50'...... seperation is your friend.
It's all what the people your selling to want... unfortunately i run around bidding against Copter Kids, Benjamin, and everybody else that'll carry a red.... so were screwed, were all in and doing it.....
If we were mixing with a 5d alot, the performance gained on a brushless gimbal over what a...
I didn't get it till we used it... it's a weird way to o it, That little sony as10-15 did the same kind of slo mo recording..... theres still 60 fps there, it's just another way of getting it on disk.... all the richness and sharpness of 24 but slows down
These hollywood guys are a trip,,, but...
guess that could sound good, but i live this, trust me, they aren't all alike
regarding the slo mo, it's not software, it's how the camera records... the playback is already slo mo but is in 24p look, read about gh3, it works really well....
in hollywood even the gh3 is a tough sale...... they want red footage to mix with there arris footage, etc...... heros are on alot of "shows" but not so much feature film or even advertising work......
in regards to castle, the pro is the only one that'll go 12v and it's 25 amp service. for fpv, it is noisy.... not saying there not in some of my rigs, but the ones it is have the worst video reception than any buck converter setup from the lower noise floor...
I'm pretty sure if this is like viacopter the 3rd axis board is full voltage.... mine is. you will get errors till the sensor is orientated properly, then they should subside and it'll start working after it is orientated right and calibrated the acc/gyro.........
I've setup quite a few of...
we shoot all 24fps, when we use slo mo we reduce the capture 40% or somehting, keeps the 24 quality and 60 fps slo mo look. GH3 is baddo
is this new sony sealed or wide open for all the dust to live on the sensor like the nex line?
when you buy simonK firmware esc they come with a preset number inside them, usually 1100-1900 endpoints and there nice and even. if you calibrate with a jr radio it can make them calibrated at the wrong endpoints to where you gotta get to a futaba radio to reprogram in the proper endpoints or...
most of us use "buck converter" for all the fpv gear. it's a low power setup so it has minimal noise and still has more overhead than any fpv cam and tx can use
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR7.TRC2.A0.Xbuck+converter&_nkw=buck+converter&_sacat=0&_from=R40
use nd filters and them little hoods over the lens is the only fix........ planning the flight so the sun hits the camera right is part of flying, you just gotta screw up enough to make yourself remember all the little details that goes into making video with these things
it is usually the radio that your calibrating them to, each brand has a slightly different bottom, middle and top pulse width....... that will be the same pulse width your throttle channel in teh flight controller will receive. we use a 4 into 1 servo lead so i can calibrate 4 at a time.... the...
At least i don't gotta worry about my job...... if your not balancing your flight controller is pissed, the motor bearings will break from abuse, bolts shimy loose, these things can spin 10k rpm.... no need to balance, good luck with it all
it's tough, seen a lumix gx7 mirrorless just came out. if it's like our gh3 that'd be a great camera to carry you far off into the future. Sealed bodies are a big deal when your flying. We had so much trouble i'll never use em in the air again
haven't seen it but regarding the used nex.... these bodies aren't sealed so the sensor is really succeptable to dust and results in scratched sensors..... it's only like $60 to get a new sensor put in, but consider that into the price and choice of cams.... there a pain to fly... they are also...
like the failsafe isn't set or the tx/receiver malfunctioned
see those really big antennas out there, wonder what band there transmitting along with that place you accronymed.......... we use rf explorers to see that the rf is free to use before we fire up
I have mentioned this case a couple times and got a few request to see it, check this bad boy out
cnc cut closed cell foam for a jib
it's a really nice case,,, totaly worth the $$$
those are almost impossible to balance out perfectly... i tried, never worked very well.... the tigers come dynamicaly balanced, so worth the extra money... if your not filming, apc are fine, Graupner are better, middle road imo
