I haven't tried it myself yet (I have a similar issue), but I've heard that reducing your Vertical Gain is the way to reduce shake on decent.

The immersion should be signal neutral - it will just output what it inputs. Is it your OSD maybe? I don't know if you can switch between Pal and NTSC on that?

There are two type of those converters I think, and only some are compatible with the NTSC Nex's.... The scrolling sounds like what you get with an NTSC source and PAL on the monitor.

The quick way to tell for sure is to use the menu to navigate to the Band selection line, and make sure Band F is an option. Let me know if you need a walkthrough for it.
