    Good Video, Unfortunately....

We are all living in police states. I don't want to debate guns here, but don't assume we all share your opinion.

Europeans and their powerless subservience to authority...just stunning.

    Good Video, Unfortunately....

I see the same on other forums. This is why I think "drone" flyers need to reach out a bit to friends and neighbors, and not in a condescending or defensive way -- or even in a logical way that fails to address concerns (even if based on fallacy). The whole "I can't see in your windows because...

    Good Video, Unfortunately....

I'll be blunt. This is self-serving propaganda. Ex-post rationalization is not unique here, but it is evident. Guys who fly want to justify their actions and offer up every excuse they can think of: comparison to manned flights ("would you shoot down a helicopter?"), FAA and airspace rules ("you...

1100mm hex build. Hexacrafter, T-Motor, A2. Oh my.

The spark is just immediate current demand by the capacitors on the ESCs. The FC and other devices will simply see voltage fluctuation. Input protection on these devices will handle that just fine, just as the devices handle the usual voltage issues caused by ESCs in flight. So what's the problem?

UPDATED!: Gremsy gStabi H6 initial Thoughts & Handheld Test (Video)

It could always be the radio -- maybe an unintended channel mix causing the issue.

High current melting solder on PDB

The key to a great soldering iron/station is temperature control. Weller is great (e.g., WESD51). Hakko is also very good (check out their FX888D model).

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Lightbridge gives me a solid kilometer of range (both on my Inspire and the stand-alone Lightbridge unit). Latency is there, however, and if I needed very low/zero latency for closer in use the Connex seems like a great option.

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

I have a Lightbridge unit, but no Connex. From what I'm reading here the comparison is pretty obvious. The Connex has near zero latency, while the Lightbridge has more range. That seems like the key tradeoff between the two.

InfinityMR Universal high performance gimbal for GH4/A7S size cameras

Nothing delivers perfect horizon in all circumstances (at least not for the costs people are willing to pay for a gimbal even at the high end). Everything will be off now and then. That includes the DJI Zens, the MōVI gimbals, and everything else out there. In a two man setup the camera op...

    Freefly MoVI M5 VS M10

M5 + battery + camera mounting plates (base plate and shoe plate) + toad-in-the-hole (no handles) weighs 2.05 kg on my scale.

    Propeller recommendation?

APC props are priced right. Maybe check them out for initial flights.

    Propeller recommendation?

Do you have motors and ESCs picked out? In not, the DJI E600 system might be a good choice. Props are 12".

    Motor Idle Speed Naza mv2

Idle speed really just sets the lower end of throttle that the Naza uses to operate the motors. Basically, if your motors start then there is almost no point in changing the idle setting.

    Best WKM Firmware?

The latest (5.26) has been out for a long time and has been stable for me.

    Propeller recommendation?

It really depends on the size and application. For a 15" folder, I like DJI's 1552 prop (S900/S1000) which you can mount to about any motor using an adapter from KDE. T-Motor's carbon fiber props are very well made but expensive. If you are working on a new build check out DJI's propulsion...
