DJI Wookong M - Voltage Monitor - Flight Time Heavy Lifter

Wow! Didn't realize it was 8kg. So I guess that might make sense then. Sorry to hijack. Tom

DJI Wookong M - Voltage Monitor - Flight Time Heavy Lifter

You're getting 14 minutes with NO load and 24,000 mAh? I think the S800 gets more flight time with no load and 10,000 mAh. Something seems awry here - maybe it's just me. Tom

    Sony HDR cx-430v

My understanding is that the CX760 under standard stabilization does as you said - but active stabilization mode gives you the ois plus the boss. So I think the active takes out the small vibrations. My PJ710V (same camera) works some pretty good miracles. Switching from NEX 5N for video to...

    My brushless gimbal result

Looks great! Nice work on this project. One thing really holding me back is the first NEX video posted on the website which shows a huge horizon roll on the pan at the end. Has that improved, or is this just a limitation of Alex Mos? Best, Tom

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

In your house do this: - turn the gimbal on - gently tilt the multicopter back and forth - if it jitters move your gains down then lower them until jitters are no more. 80 still seems high to me (depending on what type of gimbal/camera you have). You will not be able to find a gain setting...

    Photohigher skyline rsgs

400 is way too high. Mine is somewhere lower than 50. Make sure your gimbal moves smoothly. And be sure to fly smoothly. If you are moving forward suddenly then any tilt will have a hard time keeping up.

S800 Owners - What battery config do you use??

According the specs I saw it looks like the Secrafts are also about 1/4 the weight. This can't be right...

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

You should buy the 3 axis gimbal but only two radian modules. Yes they are all the same and you can add pan later.

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

It allows you to yaw your hex when you want without screwing up the cam operator. If you can fly reasonably well there isn't any need to yaw during a shot.

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

Wkm stabilization is widely regarded as crap. You really only need two radians IMO. I've never really understood the need for pan stab. So you'll need $700. As far as hooking up wkm to cinestar - idk how you'd do that. You could just hook it up and not ever pan the gimbal - do panning with...

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

We run a two-man show, so we have a 360 gimbal. If we run from the main batteries then the wires would keep twisting. So we just put a battery on the gimbal. I suppose we could buy a twisting electrical connector that is designed to swivel - but that would probably be another dozen or so...

WKM + Cinestar 3 axis Power Problems?

Just run the WKM separate from the Cinestar. Use Radians for stabilization - they are much better than WKM stabilization. Use a small separate battery to power the Cinestar. If you have a rig that can carry the Cinestar then the weight of Radians and an extra battery are negligible.

    Smart aerials first showreel!

Great video! Did you use a low bitrate for your render to Vimeo? Even on HD it looks grainy to me - I have this camera and know that it doesn't look like that usually. I love what you did what the colors in post - doesn't look overdone - just right. Best, Tom
