Just managed to fry my PMU... I connected the camera gimbal to try and get it working, a few seconds later the PMU was smoking...here's hoping I can buy a new PMU on its own and not have to fork out for a whole new system!! I'm now leaving the workshop to have a glass of wine and try and...

I noticed when I first spun the heli up the other day, there is no motor arm or disarm function...this can be very dangerous, because if you turn off the transmitter before the heli, it goes into failsafe and takes off (well, mine almost did, but the props were off!) I wonder if DJI would...

I had my Draganflyer set up with a small screen that I could glance at when framing a shot...it's easier than you think to get the aim right. That was also without gps...if you have gps it should be a breeze. Gunter.

I made a similar mistake last night where I spun everything up and the motors only slowed down a few seconds after dropping the throttle...I had the gps switch on! Make sure it's in manual mode... Gunter.
