    WARNING - Firmware 5.24

Isn't there a newer firmware than this one now, 5.26, what is that like?

    Geotagging Images for 3D Models

Bloody hell, that's pretty cool. Is that all without any GPS info etc?

    Geotagging Images for 3D Models

Turns out that the Phantom 2 Vision does this, which is odd because I asked a couple of place who sell these if they have any machines that geotag photos and they said no, or they weren't sure. Still, I can't really afford 800 quid just to dabble in geotagging and model making. Please can...

    Zenmuse Z15 GH3 question...

Same here, managed to reballance GH3 zunmuse for other similar sized camera. I wouldn't be at all surprised in DJI brought out an adapter. If they don't I'm sure someone else will.

    Geotagging Images for 3D Models

I'm just wondering if anyone has done this before, and what they used if they did. I thought it would be pretty straight forward, but the more I look into it the more mind boggling it seems to be. I have a Canon 5D or Sony Nex5 with a DJI Wookong and iOSD, but think you also need the datalink...

    Hoverfly Something BIG coming soon!

Would be good if it was all true, but that footage was unusable. A bushed motor gimbal, like this, would have been more of a 'something big'.

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

I guess, I'm not sure they're big enough to have a corporate level though. I more get the impression that they're a bunch of old-fashioned aviation types with heads full of desks and paper stacking (with the exception of maybe one person answering emails and phone calls), where everyone else is...

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

Let us know how it goes, I'll be really interested. I don't think the BNUC people are a bunch of freeloaders or bad people, they are ultimately doing a good thing in a lot of ways. However, their admin side and back to the bottom of the pile way if dealing with Ops Manual adjustments, many of...

    Show your FPV video

Haha, that's ace ryhza. Amazing flying through some narrow gaps and obstacles. I love the made to look easy transitions from higher obstacles to lower ones. :)

@vladoportos, great video, really nice scenery. @Jake Bullit, I remember that place, we stayed in the hotel by the bridge when we had that last multi rotor meeting. The weather is brighter and sunnier in your video than when I flew over there after the meeting in 2012.

I did this video for myself the other day, just an ordinary flying about video really but the water looks nice on the weir I think.

    My brushless gimbal result

I just came back from my first flight test after adding the 3rd axis to the Gothelirc gimbal. I have the pan working nice, but now the entire gimbal kind of wobbles about a bit, which it didn't do before when it was only two axis. I'm guessing as a 2 axis the connection to the hexacopter is more...

    My brushless gimbal result

Do you mean the sensor board? I just have mine mounted on the top bar of the gimbal, above the camera, with a double sided sticky pad.

    My brushless gimbal result

I have just added the 3rd axis to the nex5 gimbal and it nearly works ok but it doesn't seem to point straight forward. I'm trying to use it in follow mode so it stays pointing the same way I'm flying but smooths out small random yaw movements. Can anyone tell me the best setting to do this...

Proficient Scale Helicopter Pilot has the FPV bug

Good luck, though I think you'll find it's pretty easy once you get into it. :)

Looks great. I think the second two long shots are better than the first one. There a bit of unwanted side to side motion you can see in the last shot going round the corner. I've had problems with that myself with DJI, I'm experimenting with turning the yaw gains down where I can't use a 3 axis...

is this setup good ?? first quad

Turnigy stuff, in my experience, is generally pretty good. I'm not sure I'd trust Hobby King ESCs, would rather have maytechs or some other simonk flashed ESC. 450 frames are pretty bullet proof. I don't like those KK boards, especially not for beginners. They aren't the worst you can buy, but...

Getting ready to make the shift in Warwick, UK

Thanks for watching the vid. :) I haven't tried any of the FrSky stuff, but do know they're very popular. I'd still want to get an 8FG at least though at some point. You can seamlessly add a long range system to it later on then if you want to, plugs right into the 8FG trainer port. I've tried a...

Getting ready to make the shift in Warwick, UK

To be honest I wouldn't risk using an old radio like that. If you can get the money you'd be better off with an 8FG, which works perfectly with the Naza. I don't think you'll be able to setup the Naza fail safe with that old radio for one thing, and you really do need a modern radio rather than...
