Yeah, I never read people saying no post stabilization as a badge of honour or showing off, just more like look how smooth and steady it is, even without tweaking with software. It does make a difference to me to know if it's stabilized or not, so you can see that it might not need any or it...

I did a test flight last night, flies pretty nice. I feel pretty silly asking for the measurements now because, once you see it and realise it's kind of obvious the booms have to be 120 degrees because there's three of them, 3 x 120 = 360, and this makes it even. :) I never had a Y6 before and...

Thanks everyone, I went ahead a drilled my existing plates with the front booms at 120 degrees as suggested by IrisAerial and put it all together. I'll test it tomorrow and see if it flies right, if not I'll order proper plates, or PM RTRyder or Geoff later. I thought I may as well give it a go.

I want to convert my Droidworx AD4 into a Y6, I have everything I need apart from the Y6 centre plates, which I believe are essential to move the two front motors further back so the tricopter is balanced right. Anyway, I can't find anywhere selling the centre plates, so can someone please...

A lot of the over water stuff was only over shallower flood water, rather than over the river itself. And the bits in the middle of the river were mostly directly above the bridge. The really high shot was pretty hair-raising though, but I just felt I had to do that. :)

Here's a video I made of local floods with a Droidworx AD4 (that I won in the UK multirotorforums meet up raffle). It's a bit wobbly in places because it was quite windy, but I think it came out quite well otherwise. I also made the music, so I apologize if it's a bit terrible.
