Are smaller Quads harder to tune Multiwii?

To be honest it's not the best looking thing out there. I bet it would fly fairly well with a DJI Naza on it though. The cheaper flight controllers can be hard work.

Hello from Southern IL Near STL

Hi there. I'm in the same boat, trying to get a small UK general rc flying forum going, it's not easy though. :)

    Hi From Spain

    Hola. :)

Getting ready to make the shift in Warwick, UK

Somthing like this would do for charging, I have a few but one is enough if you're not in a hurry to charge a few batteries at once.

INTRO: Hello from Colorado...new to multi's....VERY excited!

Yep, the main changes are lipo batteries and 2.4 transmitters... oh, and everything has a GPS and flight controller/autopilot. :)

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

My colleague is definitely switching to Resource, so he'll be glad to know that. Me too probably.

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

You'll have to let us know how it goes, see if they mess you around like they have with us. We're thinking of sending separate complaints to the CAA to get their admin looked into.

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

Seems so. I didn't send mine initially, then having waited over a month after I paid for renewal and submitted logs emailed to see what was going on and they asked me for a copy of my Ops Manual.. then sent it back two weeks later with 'suggestions', which after an email or two to clear up...

    Phantom upgrade in Hong Kong

Ne hao. :) I have had both frames. Didn't like the Arris, but the Tarot frames are nice and sturdy. Very good for the price. I wouldn't buy the RTF set though. I would get my own motors and ESCs and probably a Naza V2 with GPS if I was you...

INTRO: Hello from Colorado...new to multi's....VERY excited!

Hi Mike. My friend's been in almost the same situations, had a lot of ops and a lot of meds and is finally recovering after spending a few weeks in Spain. He's back next week and raring to go. :)

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

Exactly! The worst thing for me is I do send my Ops Manual to the CAA myself in July every year so it's already been approved by them. I told them this and they don't care, they won't renew my BNUC until I change my manual to their liking. They call the alterations 'suggestions', but it's meant...

Am I dumb for wanting a Cinestar 6?

I won't bother adding or detracting from what everyone's already said. I will say though that going bigger adds a lot more personal stress. Obviously it costs more to build bigger; bigger motors, bigger ESCs, bigger cameras, bigger gimbals but it's also a lot more stressful to fly. Not more...

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

My colleague says he's not going to be working with BNUC after this year, he's going to try the RPQs no matter what - i.e. he doesn't even care what they're like, he doesn't want to deal with the BNUC admin again. Sometimes they ask you to correct something, which you do then send it in... then...

    Hello from Las Vegas Nevada

In just built my first 5D carrier. I was all ready to go, then went to fix on my new props and found the bottom front two (on a coaxial hexa) were obstructed by the batteries.. doh! I have to get longer booms now, but itching to see how it goes with these motors I bought.

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

Yeah, we were discussing the possibility of complaining to the CAA about the BNUC admin just yesterday. It's a less scary scenario now there's a second option for qualification.
  16. RC Flying

    BNUC-s vs. RPQ-s?

It's not the CAA messing around, they're actually really good. It's BNUC. Still, I'll pass it on.

    Total Noob from Scotland

Hi spoony, bulding your own is a good way to go, to learn what does what etc. The naza should be easier to fly than the blade.

    Video Converting/Blackmagic Pocket Cinema/ZenmuseZ15

I guess another option would be to buy/make a different gimbal, one that fits a few different cameras. Can you use a HDMI converter for the pocket cam?
