V1.7beta on my diy mount / DW VM-6 / HFP machine. Wind 5-10mph. Piro / yaw and aggressive flight testing. The horizon was not perfectly level on power-up. There was some small roll effect during the piros. Most of the flight (especially the aggressive stuff)... very happy. Just heading...

alas... the advantage of building ones own gimbal ;) There is certainly less tilt jitter on my mount. Lets hope I can get some testing in this weekend... Pete

Gee I wish I had managed the upload this morning :( I have the two servos plugged in. Follow the manual step by step... Be prepared to remove power quickly if (in the beginning) if it rolls or tilts uncontrollable as that may mean you have to reverse the affected axis - "servo" tab...

I upgraded the USB driver (6.6.1.0) tonight and the the RSGS with 1.7beta. I am using a Acer One Netbook 1.6Ghz. I followed the book and the upgrade happened like it should without issues. It kept my original settings for tilt travel and AUX options. I calibrated it with the 3-step process...

I am using a 1.6G netbook. I get the BSOD - complete lockup every time I hit the "monitor" tab. It corrupts the program and I have to manually delete it and re-install after every crash / use. Differcult to take a screan shot with a dead pc! Pete

I bought mine because I didn't want feedback pots - I have a DIY gimbal where pots add a large complexity to the build. If I need to go back to pots, I might as well go back to the Hover fly board controlling the gimbal. I've been busy/away but I will test 1.6 further this week. Pete

I'm sorry for saying this out loud at work and laughing... when 4.6r2 cost me $2k on two machines (and 1 x destroyed camera) while very slowly descending in AL. I am however enjoying 4.3.802 reliably again... everyone - feel free to beta-test this for me ;) Pete
