V1.6: I run mine on an XP netbook... I can't go to the "monitor" tab as I get the BSOD every time! Then the program wont restart - so I have to uninstall/reinstall... except it wont uninstall - so I have to manually remove the folder in my local directory first! Very buggy software. I cant...

Cool... just sharing concerns ;) I lost a machine in the early days due to a binding servo mechanism + poor quality ubec. As I'm (now) setup for solo flying & tilt/shutter, I have only one rx fitted now. I'm allowed to forget that you are using a separate gimbal rx! Pete

I would be concerned to have the same battery (or ubec) powering the FC and HV servos. If a servo jams, it will suck the power / low-volt away from the FC. Pete

I replaced my PH supplied resisters with some spare vishay 5K screwdriver-adjust pots. I set them to exactly 2.5K/2.5K and hot-melt glued them solid. At least I know my resistors are even ;) I also needed to replace some of the PH "servo leads" as I had problems with the pins pushing out when...

My calibration for 1.6 went ok except... with no release notes, it was trial and error. My mount started to roll during "auto tune" super-quick and shredded the servo wires. I was not using the AUX port so I left it floating. No servos would work as the default in the AUX control tab had...

Common the negitive wires of the RX's. Power the new gimbal rx and servos with a new ubec. I common the rx negitives as... I like to control my gimbal tilt solo from my Tx and (at the flick of a switch) give control to the camera operators Tx. The pilots rx tilt channel (signal wire)...

V1.6 on the diy gimbal. From the model club yesterday. Just the Gopro strapped to the tray but you get the idea - especially when the front arms come into view. Pete

My Skyline is on a 3mm threaded pivot out the side so it is possible for mine to be not lined up perfectly parallel to the side of the tray. That is where the tilt-test helped me align my my RSGS. Pete

One way of checking alignment is... on the bench, tilt the mount full down with your tx tilt control and the mount shouldn't roll at all. Mine did (about 5 deg) until I got it aligned properly. The instructions need some serious work - the new client software has changed significantly... Pete
