Monto RC Hobby **Avroto** Motors Contest Giveaway!! Beyond the hover!

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Hi there!

I'm pretty new to multirotors, only been flying for about a month. But I have a project of flying a DSLR in near future, like many of us I think. So I decided to give it a shot, though I know, that I really can't compete with the Experienced and Skilled. What the heck, it was fun anyway!

The location is Helsinki, Finland, where I live at. And the place is a summer cabin or a hut more likely. In the video you can see a solar panel and I actually charged the flight batteries of my Y6 with solar energy! And there's an extra level of difficulty since my 9 month old daughter is sleeping inside the cabin and I don't want to wake her up (ofcourse I did at the end...). I'm on my fathers leave at the moment while my wife is at work so I only get to fly at afternoon nap time.

Here we go, only 9 laps. The second touch was a bit light but it was there. At the end is a collection of crashes.

Thank you for watching!

-Mika

love the outtakes!! i'm beginning to feel a bit bad from all the damage we're witnessing....but are we better pilots with the contest coming to a close?

You have a double-up of Juz and EflierNZ #1 (hex) is missing...

As for timing - it's great (being 14:25 on an absolutely stunning clear winter day here... :)

O.K. down to the wire. I tried to strap on one of my kids dolls, but that didn't work out. I decided to start with crash role since that is how my day starts.
Enjoy

the contest is closed.

take a day or so to give them a good look and i'll post a poll tomorrow sometime for everyone to decide which five they like the best.

thanks to everyone that posted a video. it's amazing to see an idea take form and then for people around the world to follow through on it like this. give yourselves a round of applause.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
i just saw that too, the more the merrier. i had to run out this morning for a pee wee football tournament so i didn't get a very close look at the thread.

Have you ever tried uploading a video with a deadline. It always takes like two hours to upload instead of the 30 minutes. I think I started to upload at 6:30 pm PDT and had to check a few times from my phone since I wasn't at home. Not a huge deal, but since I went through a few props, it was a bit painful to think the upload would fail. Either way, it's in and I had fun putting the clip together. I didn't think I would have so many bloopers for the video, but obviously I was wrong.:p
