Not sure if I missed it in previous posts, but what motors are you going to use?
What are the props you've ordered?

If I go with a 650mm I"ll probably go with Avroto M 2814-11 motors and Xoar 12x6 props to start.

Hope you get some nice flying weather when you finish.

Hi jfro,
I'm ordering the Tiger 2814/10 770kv with the Xoar 12x6. Avroto are also recommended but cant find good place to purchase in UK both are some spec though.. I believe so anyway.

If it's not raining or snowing and she's ready I'm out flying when this baby has it's motors I really cant wait!!

Sounds like the tigers and Avroto are the same. I'm lucky in I can buy the AVroto right in my hometown.

Be interested to see your final weight when you get done. Also your flying time and batteries you use.
Hurry up and get it done.....

Thanks Nic, I'm so chuffed with this strong frame and all ready for WKM and extras, can take other controllers as well. AUW should be close to 3.8kg with GoPro attached or 4kg with Nex5N this is only guesstimating but it won't be far off..

Sweet Vin! A suggestion, in your 3rd pic, do something about the sharp edge where your esc wires touch. An 'ounce of prevention' thing. Really liking this frame the more I see of it.

This rig looks strong. Sronger than my XM-6. Can't wait to see this fly mate. Well done. I'm a sucker for hexas.

Hi Tom,
The finish on the frame is excellent, I will be preventing the wires touching the frame with zip ties / brackets once I know the motors are all turning correctly and don't need to swap around, thanks for the information as always all suggestion and guidance is helpful and taken on board. This is so strong and well laid out, the top half is even better protecting the components and easy access for wiring and connectors.. I can't wait to fly her.

Thanks Tom, Andrew is a flyer that decided to create his own bird went all down the routes of looking into well known frames but with cost and re engineering to fit components so he made his own. He's done she'd loads of research into this. Just set motors up all running smooth still need to connect to assistant software and tune in. Can't wait misses has me laying tiles at mo got to keep her happy as I'm sure I will need to spend some more money on stuff lol
