cheers for sharing Dave, the polarizing filters look like a must have for GP.

I guess most folk know about ragecam but those that dont..... no third party options list would be complete without http://ragecams.com/shop/

A note about polarisers, there are 2 types...circular & linear...for our use we need circular. Now comes the next crunch..circular polarisers have a ring you can turn to adjust the amount of polarised light striking the lens & only work at angles of 90 degrees to the source of light (namely the sun).
The best results since these types of cameras have fixed aperatures is a "ND filter" (neutral density). This filter reduces the amount of light striking the lens & makes the camera auto shutter reduce speed, reduced those awful bent looking prop effects, in most cases removing the props from the video all together!

I'm not sure of the names of the type, but the polar filter is directional. if i lay it on my cell phone lit up it almost goes black one direction, then rotated it to 90 degrees and super clear. it changed the way my camera records, especially around water by alot. The downside is there flat and your lens makes em go curved so it can get some wrinkles and it is super easy to scratch being plastic. took me 3 to get this far, 6 months at the most, but changed cases, and when did, they get screwed up
