Hi, i was looking at your pics of your octo and am curious about the tube thickness of the arms. I am making a custom and bought some 7/8" carbon tube with a .034" wall. But now that I see your tubing is double walled with foam? in between I wonder if I am being too conservative on material. Is that indeed foam between 2 tubes? If so is that standard Droidworx?

Hi Ross,

I see you are moving forward with your HL Platform. I am going with a Y6 and needless to say I am having difficulty sourcing the components,all are on backorder ?????? I see that the China, the worlds leader in magnets are warning of a massive increase in cost. This will drive the cost of Motors through the roof.

Have you any reports on the performance of your motor choice ? I will have to make a decision quickly, especially with a Euro currency crisis looming.
