Does anyone have any alternative motors to the Tiger MN4014-11 motors?. Looking for something with a bit more grunt but heres the catch, at a lower cost. Not for me. Any hints would be appreciated. Cheers

    On/Off Switch

3 years ago when i first started building multirotors I built a Minsoo Kim (KK Multirotor) quad from all the parts he supplied in a kit form. It flew pretty well and I still have all the parts from that first build which often get rehashed in to various builds that I might try. One of the...

    Prop life?

I have the same set of 11 inch APC props on my Hexa for the last 6 months and they have logged about 8 hours of air time. Do people retire props after a certain amount of time? Do the plastics in these props deteriorate with a lot of use?.

    Hoverfly HFP gimbal control question

George/Al with respect to the HFP gimbal controls I am assuming they are "linked" to the HFP "gyros", by that i mean the gimbal controls react to the same sensors the HFP does. If thats true does the percentage of AL we add in in the setup software have any impact at all on the HFP gimbal...

Hoverfly Horizon off level after curved turns/banked turns

Hi Guys, Im still getting the horizon going off level after curved turns where i am using yaw as well as rudder control to make arc shaped turns. The gimbal on the roll axis will take a while to come back to level after these turns. Pete dropped by today and his quad was doing the same thing...

Hoverfly Green board horizon scrolling on Setup software.

Im trying to help a local guy out with his HFP. Its one of the very first green boards with 2 dip switches. He bought it in an Octo from Kimberley at Photo Higher and has been using it for a while in a small quad. I updated his firmware to the latest and then when checking everything noticed...

Recently I was involved with a Mountain Dew tv commercial and because of my inexperience and also the fact Im so new to RC etc when asked to fly over people I said no. The big fear I had was either losing control of my Hexa and hitting someone or some sort of failure with the hexa and it...
