    Sensefly Ebee

heard some pretty good feedback on the event38 mapper - although it does just look like a modded hobbyking kit. I like the aeromapper 300 too which looks like it would be a bit better suited to you

    A2 intelligent landing gear

I think I remember having to use a servo reverser for the retracts on a SkyJib to make them work correctly with the A2

Dual use rudder stick? Copter/Gimbal control

Has anyone come up with a way or tried to use the rudder stick for controlling both the copter and the gimbal with a switch to be able to change between the two? I've just received a gremsy h3 for a new sub 7kg rig and keen to have the option of using it as a single op rig but never find...

First attempt at acro didn't go too well - gain settings too conservative?

make sure your not dropping below 10% on your throttle so you can still control the quad at the top of the roll when it's inverted. I've adjusted the throttle curve so using a spare switch it will always stay above 10%

What's better... smaller & more or larger but fewer lipos?

Hey Bartman, Tattu 16000mah are 15C to 30C Burst Gens Ace 10000mah are 25C Overlander 8500mah are 15C to 30C Burst I'm guessing just having 2 packs at 15C isn't sufficient, to be honest I'm not sure how you calculate this though?

A2 voltage readings with Tiger u7 (v2.0) motors

Have a look at this thread. I noticed I was getting a similar problem with only running 2 packs. 4 packs performed much better and gave a more constant voltage rating. As Bartman mentions at the end - could be to do the your C ratings...

What's better... smaller & more or larger but fewer lipos?

So little update... Noticed a quite a difference between running 4 packs and 2 packs - with 2 packs I'm getting much bigger voltage drop under load and 4 packs are definitely keeping the lipos cooler - so many thanks for the advise and saving me getting some 22000mah packs. Flight times with...

What's better... smaller & more or larger but fewer lipos?

Ah this explains why ecalc gives much better performance for 4 packs compared with 2 - hadn't considered this this before My setup has 4 battery cables soldered direct to the power board so the benefits of having 4 packs are ready for the taking. I guess another slight bonus would be the...

What's better... smaller & more or larger but fewer lipos?

Trying to work out the best way to go... either 8500 or 10000 mah with 4 in parallel or 16000 or 22000 mah with 2 in parallel Ive done an ecalc on each using Tattu 10000, 16000 & 22000mah as well as the Vulcan 8500mah superlight. I'm not totally convinced what ecalc is telling me - I'm not...

A2 with Spektrum - Say YES to TX Telemetry

I thought you couldn't use DSMX satellites with the A2 though - thought they had to be DSM2 is that a typo or do they work? thanks

A2 with Spektrum - Say YES to TX Telemetry

I have been using the TM1000 with A2 for ages. No need for a bec you can take power direct from the A2 if you have a spare channel just remove the signal cable from the servo lead.

New Release: Connex HD Video Downlink 3000FT $1599.

Is it possible to get a 2nd ground unit so both camera op and pilot can have separate monitors or are you still using 5.8 vtx for the pilot? Had a hunt around and couldn't find just a ground unit for sale

Aeronavics / Droidworx SkyJIB T-X4 Tips

For my DSLR setup I fly a Movi M5 with GH4. Using Skyjib I would say U5's with 16 props is the minimum setup you would want. I've got a bigger rig in the making for epic's /alexa mini. Best way of checking ur setup is to switch it to manual mode and see at what throttle setting it hovers at...
