the only place to calibrate naza is in assistant. thats what makes mid stick hold an altitude. otherwise naza never learns what mid stick is you also want the alttitude gain around 120-140. Yes i have, just got one, just did what i said and it fell off lock when it yawed, but it held altitude...

when you guys calibrate your naza to the radio, are you putting the throttle back on 50% perfectly before hitting finish? if not, try it, should have some monitor or way to see it in the radios display

yea, it's a weird system and i've seen people with problems using them. Did you try changing the radios slave settings to slave. you might loose trim and expo mixing, but it almost always works there ch 5-8 will still be adjustable. I'm battling it right now with an 11x. just ordered a futaba...

they can do that with a bad connection at the esc as well. push the connector on and off all three wires and try it again. one of the three motor wires isn't making a good connection, can be at either end of the wire,
