Just fly full on FPV for this - doesn't look too hard - it's not like that's a tree-lined fairway. And make sure your failsafe is set up if you go out of radio range. This is extremely important.

Follow mode is a feature in the AlexMos software - Basically if you yaw your mr quickly to the right, the camera will smoothly pan to the right until it catches up with your yaw. It just smoothes everything nicely.

Black edition is the one to get. First thing, get rid of the fisheye - I think Rage Cams sells lenses. If you don't have a camera operator, learn how to fly FPV the best you can. Try to get 3-axis stabilization if you can and then use follow mode - most beginner videos have a lot of yaw...

Par 5s: Stand under a tree halfway down the hole and fly a mix of LOS and FPV. Oh, and don't hit any trees - they seem to be popular on golf courses. Most Par 4s and 3s you can stand behind the tee box and fly mostly LOS to the hole.

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately this is a plug-in type connector - not IR. The GH3 doesn't do IR that I know of.

Anybody have this up and running? Can't seem to get mine to work. I'm using it exactly the same as I used my old RCShutter for nex5n. I've tried all travel adjusting and sub trims in my radio - still nothing. Are there any camera settings that will prevent it from working? Thanks, TB

Well after many hours I finally have my HDMI board set up so that it transmits a picture successfully from my NEX-5N. Plug it in to the GH3 however, and I get vertical colored stripes with no picture. I have tried every setting for output: 16:9, 4:3, 1080p, 1080i, 720p, etc... Is there a...

Thanks much! Really wanted to do the mast, but we lost that part of the shot because of a pretty hard jitter we didn't see while filming. Thus the reason I just completed a new octo build with 3 axis brushless gimbal.
