    Mantis hybrid Octo just completed

Well this is embarrassing. I have absolutely no idea how many amps this rig pulls. I'm trying to fit on some Jeti current telemetry and I need to know my max amps pulled. Anybody know how many amps this thing would pull at auw 21 lbs.? And doesn't the amp pull increase as the lipos deplete...

They have no idea what they're in for. Do you think it will go down in the ocean or a crowded stadium?

Thanks John. We do still run a two-person show. We fly all over. When we are testing we usually fly Harkness.

Only the first two were done with setup in my signature. The rest were done with a Sony pj710v on a hexacopter with an av130.

Hoverfly What Makes Good Aerial Video

I think the best thing to do as a 1-man show is a 3-axis setup with follow mode enabled on yaw. And then leave a pretty big deadband so that it doesn't follow your yaw unless you mean it. At the end of the day though, I'm just being picky - your lake video is truly spectacular - you have a...

Hoverfly What Makes Good Aerial Video

Great ideas on here guys! I've learned quite a bit already. I don't have much to add - but one of the grips I have when watching vids has to do with direction. For example, in the Stanley Lake vid (which is mesmerising by the way), there is a lot of yaw motion which gets distracting. Many...

Newbie looking for some aerial shots

There is a lot involved in your endeavor. You mention you want small and cheap, but then you mention you want stable video for documentaries. Not sure those are very compatible. First thing is to learn how to fly. Get a Blade MQX and fly it until you can fly it very well with the nose...

    DX18 telemetry question

Anybody know if this thing can provide telemetry for two onboard lipos at the same time? Really trying to find a way to get telemetry from our two lipos - Thought about going with a Jeti, but $$$$$$$$$. Thanks, Tom

Technical test of my new MR frame and gimbal

You need to mess with the gyro trust numbers in advanced settings. We've had this same problem. If you do lots of fast flying with quick changes of direction you want a higher number. Try 100 for 2 minutes, land, then try 50, land, then try 150, you may even try 200 - that's what we're flying...
