hmmm hard to say ! I am pretty sure they know what they are doing but you have to buy the VTX and RX combo from them the DJi VTX comes with some non compatible channel frequencies to immersion RX for example. Think the whole VTX RX DJI setup is around 200 Euro. Boris

KS I the 500mw should work. But if you plan on using the DJI OSD in the future i would recommend you getting a Immersion 500mw 5.8ghz one of the newer ones that can take up to 6s input. Just makes the cable a lot easier. Boris

no Bec, no reason for extra noise or any components on the ESC that could effect the ESC what its mainly there for controlling your motors !

Thats all clear and i had the VTX connected directly to the CGU AV output. But the DJI OSD has no dedicated VTX BEC, work around use the CGU BEC or the AVin CAM BEC ! Boris

seems like its for their components. VTX DJI take 6s and might even be that DJI is bringing out a FPV CAM. For the S800 no problem little work around I hope, but for small FPV birds having to use extra BEC again, where you can have it all in one with a TBS core hmmm.
