Tau Labs Mounting of OP CC boards

mines hard mounted, havent had any issues (alway hard mount my boards) rubber band suspended ones - i can almost see them amplifying the vibrations, as this board is so light. Tau Labs Showing Off

@kilby - if you factor 10 mins for the board swap and programming the setting, allow 30 mins for 2-3 flights of tuning to get it how you want it. so, if ya have 3 charged batts and 40 minutes spare before the weekend - you are good to go !

Tau Labs Mounting of OP CC boards

here ya go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q83n1UVc1ew unedited - i crash when the wife walks up asking for the credit card, while on "rate" mode, was flying it like I do in attitude mode - not at all how i should, rate mode demands respect and finess. As you can hear, the wind is picking up...

The more I have to deal with PID the more I like KK boards!

Just took my copter control board out for a fly, its replaced my KKuk i cranked the gains up 3x over standard on rate and 1.5 times on stabilisation ROCK SOLID describes it, it gets slight oscillations when a gust hits it, but i can live with that, could reduce the gain a smidge, but - it now...

Tau Labs Mounting of OP CC boards

be very carefull when bolting it down, there is a Surface mount resistor that can get knocked, as it is fairly close if you use a socket drive to nip the nut up
