You need to set the voltage lower than that or you will have only short flight times. Try 11.1v with 0.4 loss for first warning then 10.5v with 0.4 for second level.. Ideally you need to set the voltage warnings using a lipo monitor so you can adjust them accurately . Geoff

Sorry I forgot to mention how to arm the motors , You need to push both sticks either downwards and to the center or downwards and to the outside together then the motors will start . If you do not give throttle input for a few seconds the motors will disarm and you will need to arm them again...
