It seems like all the politicians are in a big hurry to ban things that they don't understand. I guess it gets them publicity.

I'm sure you know this, but for everyone else reading this: Make sure you program them all to Hoverfly's specs recommended in their manual. It easy to do with a programming card (which are like $7).

Another vote for the Plush ESCs. Once you program 'em, they just work. (Knock on carbon fiber.)

I couldn't get a really solid connection to the board, so I built a typical wiring harness. In hindsight, I probably should've cleaned the board with something to assure a better solder connection. I tried just soldering it, but with some pulling on the wire, it popped off. Soldering paste...

We're estimating that two batteries for the camera will get us through a day of shooting.

To be fair, PaNt (Pavlos) guessed it first. We've done the "reverse shot" on a few shoots. Sometimes it just makes more sense, especially when you need a smooth descent on a windy day.

Yes, the car was driving in reverse too. It was a fairly easy shot actually. We didn't adjust the zoom in post.
