"Stalker"? That's got to be the dumbest name ever! - it plays right to the public's fear of "drones" looking in bedroom windows and other "stalker-like" activities.

Lens FOV "ultra wide", "medium" or "narrow"????? Errr... numbers please!

    Show us what you shot.

"Full Auto" is the way to do it - making manual adjustments is kinda tricky unless you've got very long arms! ;) But you can improve your chances by bracketing and shooting in "raw". That way you've got more, and better, material to work with back on the computer. :)

Build TBS Disco modded to X8 AQ FC and ESC32

Gluing the sandwich should yield a much stiffer result - with screws there will still be "micro-movement" in torsion. Use a good slow-set epoxy or toughened CA that's known to be compatible with both materials and clean surfaces 100% before applying - clamp with moderate pressure for 24 hours...

    Wow! Just... wow!

I haven't tackled video yet myself - but I'm looking forward to it ;) Videos like this one certainly set the bar high! Watching many "look at what I shot videos" on here I see exactly the same successes/failures as with still shots. The distinguishing factor (in both video and stills) between...

No comment possible! http://vimeo.com/50337034 btw - shot with Cinestar (and a bucket load of talent!) :)

If you can fly one multi rotor can you fly them all ?

I'm confused - why is this better than what's already available? It does not matter whether the proposed organisation is "for profit" or "not for profit" - it's still subject to commercial pressures. And the "qualification", to be meaningful, must be official, i.e. created and administered by...

Red Epic, Skyjib8 or Cinestar? & which gimbal?

It seems to me to be a ****-eyed reason to choose a gimbal - easier orientation. There are dozens of ways to help with orientation. And there are dozens of things about a gimbal that are more important considerations than how much it helps (or confuses) your orientation. The OP has specific...

    S800 alternative props

No, Denny, it was a (remarkably calm) reaction to your last aggressive, condescending post. It would be beneficial to all (and I keep hoping) if you could share your extensive experience in this field in an open and friendly manner instead of this "DennyR knows best" attitude. Challenging with...

If you can fly one multi rotor can you fly them all ?

Resource UAS are focussed on the big stuff, by the look of it. But, most significantly, they don't offer a "recognised" qualification. So you get your training from them and go to EuroUSC to be tested - doesn't change anything. The CAA can't adopt a "we're not experts" stance - this is Civil...

If you can fly one multi rotor can you fly them all ?

How does that differ from the current situation? I believe what's needed is for the CAA to create the syllabus and administer the testing. Then private companies can offer training - be it "for profit" or "not for profit". I have to say, though, running anything with unpaid volunteers is really...

Denny - you've switched from "nobody's as good as me" to "nobody's as good as DJI". Makes "conversation" and the "sharing of knowledge/experience" rather difficult ;)

Red Epic, Skyjib8 or Cinestar? & which gimbal?

Strange criteria for choosing a gimbal!

Actually - looking at that video of re-balancing the Z15 - I have to disagree with you. It would add no significant additional weight to have made the over-bridge adjustable. The base plate arrangement as it exists is fine for fore/aft adjustment - again, could easily be made to do the same...

VERY interesting - thank you for pointing me to that series. Leaving aside all the irritating platitudes ("It's the plumber, not the wrench.") - you have to watch all three parts to get to the truth. Part 3 is the most revealing - where they show the scenes in ungraded and graded with the same...

    Deans are killing my fingers!!!

The contacts for 15, 30 and 45 sizes are all the same - only the crimp part is different. Scroll down on this page: http://www.powerwerx.com/anderson-powerpoles/powerpole-sets/30-amp-red-black-anderson-powerpole-sets.html for a full explanation. The cutaway diagram shows how the contacts go...

You know I don't have a Zen, Denny - and I'm not knocking it - I'm just searching for real information. Yes, it's third party information - from a few posts back in this thread! ... and it's exactly this which, to my mind, excludes it from the category of "pro gear". It's like the "idiot modes"...

    FS700 shots

Errr... no! Much more expensive than PowerPoles! But let's talk some common sense here. PRC6 connectors (6mm bullets) are designed for 8AWG wire. As I've been trying to get across in another thread you should choose your connector to suit the wire you are using. And your wire choice is...
