Also I see that it has 10 channels versus the 14 previously available for the T8FG Super. So I am wondering if 10 channels is enough for the DJI - A2 with all possible A2 functions.

If you go to the effort of using SimonK to get the best out of your ESCs make sure the ESCs have 100% N FETs and not a mix of P and N FETs as high pulse rate/motor rpm will cause the P FETs to overheat.
