The 55's would be absolutely fine if your only running them on a 4S. 6S and above I would not chance It. I just went threw this with my 515's a year ago. Originally running them on Castle 25's and max draw with 14x4.8's on each was around 4 amps and they would always run warm, as in 100 to 105...

Yes, I would still go with either the 75 or the Tmotor 80's. Even with with 15's, those motors can pull some serious current peaks. Plus they will run cooler.

Same here. I have over 70 hrs flight time with my 515's, and absolutely no bearing play. If I were still running tigers, i would already have to plan on bearing replacement soon. Tigers recommends changing at 80 hrs. KDE 300 hrs.

I would only use the KDE 75's or the new Tiger 80's with the 4215xf-465's. The 55's aren't big enough to handle those motors. Just ask pumpkin!

Yes, and they will run warmer. Also C rating will drop as IR rises over time. Need to take that into account. Take a look at readymaderc's lipos, using 3 of their 8000mah 4s lipos and have been amazed how well they have held up. Granted, I'm only drawing 17 amps at hover, but IR for me hasn't...

If your solder joints fail, you're doing something wrong. My joints either rip the wire, or pull up the traces in a crash. Good rosin core solder, (Kester 63/37) and a good soldering iron is important. Pre fluxing is a waste. Just clean pads with alcohol and pre tin the pad and wire.

You can bind the Frsky X8R to use S-bus on ch 1-8 and 9-16 for gimbal and accessories. Then use a 2nd taranis for 2 man op with second PPM D4R receiver connected to the trainer port.
