    R&D Hex for Survey/Imaging/Conservation

I don't run the Kde esc's. Castle mr 35's, and they work perfectly with the KDE's. If i need larger, Phoenix Edge Lite series are the way to go with full logging.

    R&D Hex for Survey/Imaging/Conservation

I had the same issues with a set of the tmotor beachwoods, they are junk compared to the cf's. Luckily, RMRC took them back. As far as i am concerened, Lipo handling is main cause for failure. Your gaining nothing by running two batts. Your just creating more complexity.

We are talking 240 amps continuous at an IR per cell of 1.7 or less, not going to be a problem. Also, you should be strapping your bird down and testing temps and current draw way before you ever fly.

I've been using KDE motors since they were released and won't consider using anything else at this point. You made the perfect choice for motors (3510 475kv) in the 12 to 16 inch prop range, and Patrick and Chris have always gone out of there way when it comes to customer support.

    XAircraft Service Announcement from XAIRCRAFT

I would bet that your issues are not with the SuperX. Sounds like a transmitter/receiver issue, failsafe programming mistake, or a receiver connection break with the IO.

XAircraft Super X yaw left constantly???

Even when his sticks are centered . His motor outputs are 40%spread. M1 and M3 are fighting against M2 and M4.

XAircraft Super X yaw left constantly???

Andrew, He's getting 100% rudder throw from the transmitter in the log file.

Your motors are not aligned. Look at your motor outputs and compare them to mine and you will see.

Alignment still needs to be better, motor graph plots should be bunched closer together at beginning and end of flight and clean air hover. Might be CG is a little off. :)

KDE vs T-Motor -- Picking a Motor Based on Spec Sheets

The only discrepancy I had with the KDE specs, were when it came to grams per watt. Otherwise all the specs are right on with my results with tmotor 14x4.8's. Spec for 515 shows about 12 gpw, and actual is 9.5 gpw. 2480 AUW 260 watt hover. 59% SuperX blackbox.

Just look across the prop blades like you would gun sites and you will be able to see if they are aligned.

    XAircraft SuperX

Your logs look great! Only thing I would check is motor alignment. Kinda hard to tell, need to see a flight log in hover when there's no wind.
