I can't help but think that these variations are due to temp, humidity, etc. Maybe some day, Holger will do something similar to DJI to account for this in the hardware. But, gotta love Holgers firmware updates!

So, are you saying that it is safer to fly worn out equipment with thousands of flights over several years? Your battery packs must be out of this world to have flown that many flights. What about the ball links, bearings and servo's? Honestly, just how much of the original flight control parts...

By the time the FAA is done figuring out what to do, it may cost you $15,000 just to get a commercial UAV license in 2015...and who knows what can be done with that. The hand held rig is cool though. I assume that it will convert over for aerials easy enough.

So, I assume that Derek is the one who "spec'd out" the 15-20....he was the first to show and tell this motor. What would have you done differently, if you had spec'd one out, considering the issues at hand with powering the 15-20? Sounds to me like Derek, or whomever, went for all out power...

Nice job BUT...those motors and props can draw as much as 60 amps each if full throttle is applied, as in stopping a rapid descent or puching out. That would be 480 amps and would destroy that controller as well as any currently available for the MK FC's with the I2C buss. Would you care...

Perhaps Jes, but they'd have a hard time differentiating between operating line of sight RC and testing line of sight. They simply don't have the man power and if they did, it'd still be difficult as flying FPV is perfectly legal.
