The folding works as it should, and the frame is very stiff (much more than you are used to from other frames). But the major point is, without folding you would not be able to transport the copter in a car. Well, about the costs ..., I am not sure if the copter is sold alone but you can ask...

@RobertoFMS I am using Hobbywing 70AHV (als always). The U8 and the KDE I am using are completely different, one has 250gr the other 600gr. They have very different purposes, so not directly comparable. To me both look and feel well manufactured, but to compare similar motors should be compared...

Actually yes up to 25 kg I fly with 8S and up to xx kg I fly with 12 S. The Escs work fine with 12S Best regards Ferdinand

If there is an accident (and there will always be accidents), you as a user of opensource-FCs are responsible for the software/hardware, and if you are not skilled to develop FC-software your are already almost in prison (since it is careless from you to develop something you have no idea about...

Thanks Bart, did resolve this. A lot of wind over here 30km/h average, gusts up to 50km/h, really fun to fly the Inspire in these conditions (and still getting a nice video). Was able to reach 29,8m/s in GPS-mode (wind supported) hope to be able to redo this and capture the tablet-view with the...
