    Lumix GF2

Anyone using this camera? Thoughts or opinions? I was thinking it might be nice to serve dual roles as both an AP cam & point & shoot for pics around town.

    Learning FPV

I have been looking into Ardupilot & openpilot and that is a possibility, but to be honest, I would like to take a lot of the guess work out of it. It seems that having a kit that was made to all work together would be a lot easier to deal with in the long run. The tricopter I have now started...

    Mikrokopter Crashed

Good luck! It sounds like you might have had a four leaf clover in your pocket, or was it the rabbits foot? That could have been total disaster, but I'm glad it wasn't. Well, if you aren't wrecking once in a while, you aren't learning. ;-)

    Learning FPV

And these are the reasons that I'm thinking about building a MK. I do everything by hand, including designing & building the craft, but the idea of having GPS way-points mapped out, position & altitude hold is calling out to me! I can't imagine how fun FPV would be under those conditions. ;-)...

    Mikrokopter MK in Endgadget

So has anyone else seen this article today on Endgadet? I guess they are using MK hexa's to help count crops on the west coast of the US. http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/09/six-rotor-drone-counts-trees-not-kills/

    Need video goggle recommendation!!

Bart, it is not the easiest thing to pull them down your nose like that. Personally, I try to fly 100% in the goggles including landing & taking off. For me, I start to get confused if I switch between goggle & normal views. Just the differences in lighting can be enough to make me loose...

    Need video goggle recommendation!!

I've only ever flown with the Fat Sharks, but I can't recommend them enough. I'm thrilled with my purchase.

    Learning FPV

So I finally got some decent weather here and got a little more time in the goggles. 5 batteries all together yesterday. I had some of the gains cranked up so there is a little wobble side to side, but nothing I cant tune out. This flight was much more successful than any of my previous ones...

    Anyone fly today?

It seems like I can only find calm skies at sunrise right now, so I hit the park just after dawn yesterday and shot a little video. This is all shot via FPV and was really practice for another video I have in mind. I'm hoping to wrap that up sometime in June.
