I think you are dealing with a much more professional group of folks here. I rarely even go to RCG any longer because of this. I wouldn't let it get to you, they have a bunch of rude people there that have nothing better to do.

Thanks, Mat! That was actually my second thought, to mount to a plate and then dampen the plate itself. I think that is the approach I'll take.

What about mounting it on a type of suspension system? I've been a DJ for about 20 years now and we used to have a suspension system that I built for turntables to keep them from skipping when everyone was jumping up and down on the dance floor. I could picture a much smaller version of that...

Hey Crash, how long did it take for your board to show up? I've got one on order as well and I'm trying to gauge when I should start ripping my copter apart to get it ready for the board. I've got a long weekend coming up and would love to have it ready to fly then, but also don't want to rip...

RCTimer is usually about 1 - 1 1/2 weeks with their total shipping time. Quicker if you pay for the expedited service.

I'll be adding a CC board to my tricopter. I'm already thinking of picking up a second one for a Y6 build i've had in mind.

Has anyone heard about this yet? There is a company called http://pix4d.com/ that gives users the ability to stitch together 100's of aerial photos to form 3d maps of locations. This could be a game changer for some people out there. Engadget just ran a story on it the other day...
