It seems to me that they are specializing in selling this platform to large industry & government agencies. From a sales perspective, they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't price them somewhere in this level. Government usually equates price to quality and seem to favor...

So are we talking about 2 different boards that share some functionality & software, or is CopterControl the first board to be released and the additional boards will install onto it to form the full-fat product? I'm a little confused. Sorry, but I'm just trying to get my head around this all...

Nevermind. I went to the wiki and I see why there is an Android but not iOS verison. No biggie, I'm still excited as can be to have the software native on my Mac.

Get out of town! I'm a iOS developer myself ( www.kilbydesigns.com ). Is there anyway that I might able to get involved in this project and possibly port it to the iPhone/iPad?

So should we expect to see additional features being added to the software that include navigation? I was thinking "Return to Home" & "Position/Altitude Hold" would be nice. Is this something that would come in the form of a software update to the current hardware?

I don't have a spare channel right now... that's the problem. I plan on getting a larger radio in the future, but I would hate to have that hold me up from using this in the air. It's always something.

Dang it, thanks for pointing that out, Droider. I think I got some features mixed up on this unit and could have swore it had a time lapse function. I'm going to have to rethink this now.

I'm starting off with the 14-42mm it comes with. I'll probably get others as I figure out uses for them. ;-)

Hey Mat, Would you recommend the RC Cams as a direct replacement for my RC Timer 750kv's that I'm running on my tricopter? I'm using the 25-30 HK SS ESC's. I feel a little underpowered at times and don't think these things things match up to well to each other, depending on when you bought...

I'm interested in following the rest of the development. The additional boards that they have yet to release will be the big thing for me. Anyone have any idea what the development road map/time line looks like?

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm just going to have to take a leap of faith and go get one. Now the only problem is finding someone that has it in stock!
